Spectrum of OGLE-TR-3

The chart displays a small portion of a high-dispersion spectrum of OGLE-TR-3, obtained with the UVES spectrograph at the 8.2-m VLT KUEYEN telescope at the Paranal Observatory (Chile). It is divided into five adjacent wavelength intervals and represents the mean of ten 1-hour spectral exposures. The fully drawn curve shows the spectrum of the "best fitting" stellar model from which the composition, temperature, mass, age of OGLE-TR-3 were deduced.
