Left: The central area of a CCD image of the quadruply lensed quasar H 1413+117 (the Cloverleaf), obtained in red light on 8 March 1988 at the ESO/MPI 2.2 m telescope. The four images are clearly separated; they all belong to the same object. Right: The geometry of the system.
