The image represents emission from the field around the radio-weak quasar J2233-606 in the Hubble Deep Field South (HDF-S) at a wavelength that corresponds to Lyman-alpha emission at the redshift (z = 2.2) of the quasar. Three Lyman-alpha candidate companions are indicated with arrows. Note also the extended nebulosity around the quasar.
